
Dr. John Rossow (U.S. CDC) is a public health veterinarian in the Global Public Health Emergency Branch at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2017) and Master of Public Health (2018) from the University of Georgia. Upon graduation, he joined CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the Mycotic Diseases Branch where he investigated a variety of healthcare-associated and zoonotic fungal diseases before joining CDC’s Division of Global Health Protection as an officer in the Future Leaders in Infections and Global Health Threats (FLIGHT) program. He now specializes in infectious disease prevention in humanitarian settings and provides One Health technical assistance across a variety of emergency response and workforce development activities in the global sphere.
