Yajna Elouard (WHO) holds a MA in Negotiation & Management of International Projects (France) and a MSc in International Health (Sweden). Yajna has overseen humanitarian and development health initiatives in Asia (Cambodia, India) and Africa (DR Congo, Burundi, Rwanda), aimed at improving access to basic healthcare, sexual and reproductive health, and water and sanitation, while also strengthening institutional capabilities through focused trainings. More recently she concentrated her efforts on advancing program quality, effectiveness, and coverage through operational research and impact evaluations working for the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), the Center for Evaluation and Development (C4ED) and for UNICEF Innocenti. She joined the Surveillance Systems Department in WHO's Health Emergencies Programme in June 2023 and works on the Global Field Epidemiology Partnership (GFEP), Integrated Outbreak Analytics (IOA) as well as the Contact Tracing Guideline.
