The World Health Organization Information Network for Epidemics (EPI-WIN) is a global dynamic platform for sharing knowledge and experiences for health emergencies. It aims to encourage evidence-informed policies and actions among communities and decision makers for health emergencies. It fills a gap between technical expert discussions and simplified messages for the public. EPI-WIN also helps sharing of best practice and experience among countries, partners and community voices, and provides feedback from the public in the form of questions, survey feedback and slido questions.
Over 200 EPI-WIN webinars have been held on key health emergency topics.
The objective of the webinar is to introduce the Integrated outbreak analytics (IOA) approach as well as the recently published IOA toolkit. The IOA Toolkit provides core principles, procedures, and practices for public health emergency response, with guidance on setting up IOA cells, standard operating procedures, and practical tools like case studies, templates, exercises, and animations to enhance outbreak response.
This webinar was fully interpreted in English and French and both languages are available.
